Cuban born Artist Roger Perez.

Las Pinturas is a journey beginning in the beautiful rolling hills of the Piedmont Area in Virginia, where Roger was raised, stretching to the beaches of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Not only has Puerto Vallarta been Roger’s second home for the last 30 years, but it is a connection to his Latin heritage and the subject of many of his paintings.

The contrast between the farmlands of Virginia and the beaches of Mexico is striking and comes through in these latests works. The painting are representative and are rendered in oil.

Roger has an affinity for water and boats, which are also favorite subjects to the paint. In all his works, Roger strives to portray the beauty of what he sees in such a way as to enrapture the viewer drawing them into the same place and time.
